Competitive Swimming
At Giants Aquatics Aruba, our competitive swimming program is the heart and soul of our club. With a dedicated team of over 50 swimmers, we strive to provide a nurturing and challenging environment for swimmers of all levels.
Our program is divided into four training groups to cater to swimmers at different stages of their development. We have the Squids group for beginners, the Whales group for pre-intermediate swimmers, the Nessies group for intermediate swimmers, and the Leviathans group for advanced swimmers. Each group receives specialized training tailored to their skill level and goals.
Our competitive program offers training sessions from Monday through Saturday, with specific times allocated for each group. This allows us to provide individual attention and focused coaching to every swimmer. We believe in the importance of comprehensive development, and our training program encompasses all aspects of swimming, including technique, endurance, speed, and mental preparedness.
One of our primary objectives is to ensure that every swimmer is equipped with the skills and confidence to participate in any race, in any stroke. We emphasize stroke technique, race strategies, and proper training methodologies to help our swimmers excel in both individual and team events.
Joining our competitive swimming program not only provides swimmers with the opportunity to improve their performance but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Our dedicated coaches and supportive teammates create an environment that encourages personal growth, sportsmanship, and a love for the sport.
We are proud to have a strong competitive swimming program that has produced successful athletes at regional and national levels. Whether you aspire to compete at the highest level or simply enjoy the thrill of friendly competition, Giants Aquatics Aruba is the place to be.
